On the occasion of the 2004 World Rowing Championship, the race arrival area was built (rowing tower), which incorporates one of the most emblematic viewpoints on the tour around the Lake.
The architects Josep Cargol and Ricard Turon designed some plant stands and a viewpoint that served as a tower for the referees during the competition. The stands are made up of pieces of stone in 3 different colors that are integrated into the terrain. The wooden viewpoint is reminiscent of Nordic minimalist-style constructions that respect the environment.
