Buses

The company TEISA offers a bus service that connects the town with Girona, Olot, Figueres and Barcelona. It also operates the urban transport routes that connect different districts and parts of the town of Banyoles, and also a cross-country bus that connects different municipalities in the region of the Pla de l’Estany.

Train

There is no train service to Banyoles. The closest towns where there is a train station are Girona and Figueres. These in turn are connected with Banyoles by a regular bus line. In Girona, the buses to Banyoles leave from just outside the train station.

Girona - Costa Brava Airport

Scheduled flights from different parts of Europe and Spain land at this airport. Located 34 km from Banyoles, there are buses from the airport to Girona railway station, where you can catch the bus to Banyoles:

Barcelona – El Prat Airport

Barcelona Airport is a hub for international flights that connect with cities around the world. It is 130 km from Banyoles and connects with several public transport options. There are trains and buses that connect the airport with Girona and vice-versa:

Perpinyà Airport

This is a small airport where several companies operate that connect with flights to Europe. The airport is located 95 km from Banyoles and is connected by bus from Girona railway station:

AP-7 Motorway 
Take Exit 6 (Girona Nord/Banyoles/Olot/Palamós) and then continue along the dual carriageway C-66.

N-II Trunk Road
It connects with the dual carriageway C-66 at Sant Julià de Ramis.

Eix Transversal C-25
If you are coming from the west, one option is to access Banyoles via the Eix Transversal and link with the AP-7 or N-II.
