The weeping willows place

The weeping willows place is an ideal location to enjoy the tranquility and it is one of the most romantic and peculiar spaces of the lake (Estany). Its trees lean with their branches following the water, twisted and fallen until they touch the water, and the two fountains, the Ferro and the Filosa ones, make up a very pleasant space.

The Ferro spring has been restored and is currently covered with dense vegetation, and the Filosa spring is related to a poem by Jacint Verdaguer where he talks about the joys of the Estunes, which appears in the work "Canigó".

These places are part of the Cultural Heritage of Natural Interest, together with the fisheries (pesqueres) and the urban front.
