The visit that we propose begins in front of l'Estany, where you will find the Turism Office.
The stop of the Pinxo Train, is also located here, a touristic train that, in an easy and fast way, offers a tour of the city center.
This train will bring you closer to discovering the rich heritage of a city with medieval origins where you will enjoy the imposing Plaça Major, a section of the wall crowned with some Gothic-style bandstands or the Sant Esteve monastery, among other points of interest.
On the way back, in front of the Estany, we recommend a visit to the most characteristic and well-known point of interest: the Estany de Banyoles.
This space and its entire natural environment belong to the RAMSAR network of wetlands of international importance and are considered the most extensive karst complex in the Iberian Peninsula.
Enjoy a quiet and pleasant walk in the shade of large trees that, together with the fisheries (pesqueres), are declared Cultural Assets of National Interest in the Historic Garden category.
