Pesquera Malagelada - No. 16

Pesquera built in 1990 by the Banyoles architect Jeroni Moner, to be able to accommodate the refereeing of the rowing course for the holding of the world championships and the 1992 Olympic Games, of which Banyoles was an Olympic site.

With a floor plan of a quarter of a circle, it has a pink marble façade, pronounced horizontal joints and a circular footbridge with a metal pergola. The openings in the back are made of wood and can be fully opened. The roof, the overhang and the entrance door are made of steel.

To build it, a traditional fishing hut was demolished, the second oldest on record and three years later than the first. It is currently used to accommodate the refereeing of the regatta course during the sports competitions that take place on the lake.
