Pesquera Marimon - No. 12

It is possibly the most emblematic pesquera and the most photographed image of the lake since the 19th century, with an entrance arch and a long landscaped walkway. With a nearly square floor plan of 9 x 7.5 m, the current construction is the result of a series of extensions and renovations of a traditional pesquera that constitute a synthesis over time of what these fishing huts have been, being the small construction with a dome located in the part furthest into the lake, one of the first four covered pesqueres that were built. It was first used for fishing and later to keep passenger boats, recreational boats and also, to be able to go swimming inside. It has two entrances for boats and a rear terrace that overlooks the small square floor plan with a cupola, from which comes a small wooden footbridge and a staircase to climb up to the terrace.
