Pesquera Moner - No. 7

The work of the architect Jordi Masgrau, this pesquera was built to replace a traditional fishing hut built in 1912, following the revival Catalan architecture that was prevalent at the time.

It has a completely open room, a space to store a small boat and a roof gently sloping towards the promenade façade. To fit the necessary change of the heights in the room between the false ceiling with the entrance opening for the boat, there is a false wall covered with soft stone from Banyoles.

Its location was initially planned for the site now occupied by La Guardiola (no. 18), but it was moved a few metres to the south as it was considered too close to the Gimferrer (no. 11) and Ametller-Hostench (no. 9) fishing huts.
