Mas Llucià is a historic estate located in the Guèmol district, with documented origins dating back to the 13th century. It passed from the Llucià family to the Monastery of Sant Esteve and later to the Barcelona bourgeoisie during the 19th-century disentailment processes.
The present building, a large structure with two storeys and an attic, retains its semicircular arched doorway and is divided into several traditional dwellings, including Can Xoliu, Can Rutllat and Can Serafina. Mas Llucià is one of the finest examples of the evolution of rural architecture and land ownership in the Pla de l’Estany region.
