Road cycling

There are several road cycling routes in the area of Banyoles, with different elevation gains and levels of difficulty. And it is also a starting point for many other routes. Here are some of the most iconic:

The climb to Rocacorba is one of the most popular routes, but also one of the most demanding in Catalonia, with gradients up to 18% on some stretches and sustained gradients of 15% during 1 km. So it’s common to find professional riders along the route.
