40 km of Greenway that connects the Gironès region with the Pla de l’Estany. The route takes you from Girona to Serinyà, passing through Sarrià de Ter and Sant Julià de Ramis (Gironès), and 9 of the 11 municipalities of the Pla de l’Estany, including Banyoles. At Banyoles, it enters the Protected Natural Area of the Lake of Banyoles.

The route’s name, Pinxo Train, is taken from the old train line from Palamós, which connected with Girona and Banyoles.
