The Sant Martirià Fair is a combination of tradition and modernity. It is a fair with a long history linked to the world of livestock farming that has its origins centuries ago. There are antecedents as early as the 14th century.
The blond cattle, horses, donkeys and the morphological contest endure over time and share space with exhibitions and equestrian shows, a display of native Catalan breeds, a monograph on the Catalan herding dog, a craft market and multiple conferences, talks and exhibitions related to the world of horses and native breeds.
