L'Aloja is the medieval and fantastic fair of Banyoles. Very focused on the family audience, L'Aloja aims to make known the medieval origin of the city and its long legendary history, with multiple legends rooted in the territory that oral tradition has been passed down from generation to generation.
During the last weekend of September, the alleys of the Old Town of the town and especially the Plaça Major and the space of the Wall, are transformed to relive knightly combats, a medieval market and many other activities and workshops for all ages.
