The European Heritage Days were created by the Council of Europe in 1991 and have been held every year since then over a weekend between September and October. Catalonia joined the event from the first edition.
The museums of Banyoles, the Art Centre and the Monastery open their doors to anyone who wishes to visit them during these days.
Opening hours (Darder Museum, Archaeological Museum and Art Center): Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Opening hours (Monastery of Sant Esteve): Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
