Every year, since 1934, the first weekend of July is celebrated the Aplec de la Sardana* de Banyoles (*the traditional catalan dance). A popular festival that has been maintained throughout several generations by the hand of El Foment de la Sardana.
This year it reaches its 74th edition with the incorporation of the Vigília d'Aplec and consolidating the afternoon and evening edition in the area in front of the Pesquera Santa Rosa.
And, once again, in parallel with the Aplec, the 19th Trobada de Puntaires and the 17th Concurs de Puntes de Coixí will be held.
