The week before the Procession of Sorrows, the youngest manaies (roman soldiers) of the Banyoles Manaies Manípul parade through the streets of the city.
At the SPQRtida, a group of 70 to 90 manaies under 30 years old take center stage.
The parade begins at the Church of the Sagrada Família, in Plaça de les Rodes, the headquarters of the Manípul.
