From July 11 to 19, Banyoles will host the Europe Triathlon Multisport Championships, which includes duathlon, cross duathlon, cross triathlon, aquathlon, middle distance triathlon and aquabike events.
Banyoles will experience an intense week with this event that will bring elite triathletes, under 23 and juniors, as well as paratriathletes and popular athletes or age group triathletes to Banyoles.
The event calendar will be as follows:
- Saturday July 11: Sprint Duathlon (all categories)
- Sunday July 12: Standard distance Duathlon (only for age groups)
- Tuesday July 14: Cross Triathlon
- Thursday July 16: Cross Duathlon
- Saturday July 18: Aquathlon
- Sunday July 19: Middle distance Triathlon
- Sunday July 19: AquaBike

The 2026 European Triathlon Multisport Championship is organised by the Spanish Triathlon Federation, Europe Triathlon and Banyoles City Council, with the collaboration of the Consejo Superior de Deportes, the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Diputació de Girona and the Catalan Triathlon Federation.
