Every year, since 1934, the Aplec de la Sardana (traditional catalan dance) of Banyoles is celebrated on the first weekend of July. A popular festival that has remained valid throughout several generations thanks to El Foment de la Sardana.
This year it reaches its 72nd edition consolidating the afternoon and night edition in the area in front of the Santa Rosa Fishery, next to the football pitch.
