Premiere of Vocal Roots
The voice and its relationship with the human body is the focus of singer, composer and pianist Maria Coma's latest project. After six years living in Berlin, the artist presents Vocal Roots, a piece of performing arts that rests on a meeting point between music and performance, which will be released on disc at the end of the year.
On stage, Maria Coma presents herself as a human organism in vibration and resonance, transforming and processing the most organic. Explore roots, origin and belonging through sounds, breaths, movements, melodies, cascading polyphony and beats. A bath of sensory stimuli in an ingeniously designed sound space, which captures and moves the viewer.
