Recs: Banyoles and water

The exhibition 'Recs: Banyoles and water' reviews twelve centuries of hydraulic culture in the city. It can be seen until the end of the summer at the Can Tarradas municipal exhibition space.

Banyoles is a city closely linked to water. For centuries, the pond and the underground water that runs through the streets and squares of the city have marked the history of Banyoles and, for sure, have shaped it into the city it is today.

Visiting hours:

  • From Monday to Friday (except holidays*) from 9am to 8pm
  • Weekends from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m
  • Easter from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.**
  • High season (from 24/6 to 11/9) from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

* On weekday holidays, visiting hours will be "weekend"
** Except for Easter Monday when the hours will be from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
