Pia Almoina

The Pia Almoina is a Gothic palace that originally housed a charity institution devoted to distributing bread and clothes to the poor families of the town.

This building was one of two 13th-century Romanesque houses.

It currently houses Banyoles Archaeological Museum and is the headquarters of the Centre for Regional Studies.
