Founded in 1890, with over a hundred years of history, Xocolates Torras is one of Catalonia’s oldest chocolate makers. Xocolates Torras’ factory, located at Cornellà del Terri, 3 km south of Banyoles, opens its doors so that individuals and groups alike can visit the facilities. 

In the early years of its history, between 1927 and 1973, the company had its factory at Banyoles, at number 64 in what is now known as Avinguda dels Països Catalans. Even today, you can still see on the building’s façade the year it was founded and two engravings on stone of the “Tres Torras” logo which later evolved into the present brand.
