One of the things that makes the Banyoles Christmas Fair different is the fact that it complements the typical Christmas decorations market with an exhibition of craft trades and workshops with demonstrations.

The fair also includes many activities specifically for children, such as Christmas handicraft workshops, ornaments and paper lanterns, environmental awareness-raising workshops and even a circus workshop.

Paper makers, basket makers, glass blowers, cobblers, weavers, blacksmiths and pottery makers share the fair during one weekend with curious visitors and social organisations that use the Christmas fair to publicise their products and activities, and also to collaborate with the TV3 Charity Telethon.
